| Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics NAV | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021 Assetlink migrated from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was implemented as the core ERP Financial system to centralize procurement, invoicing, receivables, payables, inventory control and month end reporting across Assetlink operations in Queensland.
The implementation focused on standard ERP Financial modules, including purchase order processing, sales quoting and order to cash workflows, accounts payable invoice processing, accounts receivable and customer master data, inventory and stock management, and expense claim processing. Configuration emphasized site-level transactional control for raising purchase orders and sales quotes, standardized supplier and customer setup procedures, and month end reconciliation workflows used by operations coordinators and site managers.
Operational touchpoints and data handoffs were established with existing local systems noted in staff activity, including MYOB at some sites, SAP Concur for expense handling, UKG Pro or Kronos for payroll timekeeping, and Rapid Access for client site induction keying. These touchpoints supported cross functional processes for procurement, payroll support and contractor onboarding without asserting specific third party connector implementations.
Governance and process restructuring concentrated on finance and operations roles, with Receivables and Payables ownership for master data governance, site managers responsible for end of month reporting, and operations coordinators managing procurement, invoice processing and stock controls. The rollout emphasized aligning transactional workflows to Business Central financial modules while preserving operational procedures for site inductions and contractor liaison.
