SAP Legacy SAP Concur Expense Expense Management ERP n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 Assura implemented SAP Concur Expense. Assura implemented SAP Concur Expense as its Expense Management solution to support finance and accounts payable functions across the company in the United Kingdom. The implementation focused on core expense capture and reimbursement workflows, including processing and payment of staff expenses both cash and credit card via SAP Concur Expense, automated approval routing, policy enforcement, and corporate card reconciliation. Operational responsibilities documented in the environment included treasury management, purchase ledger oversight, authorisation of supplier payment runs, and generation of sales invoices and credit notes as part of the broader finance process. Operational coverage centered on the corporate finance and accounts teams with the accounts assistant team supervising day to day processing and escalated query handling. Configuration and operational governance emphasized supplier setup and amendments, approval hierarchies for expense authorisation, and structured escalation paths for exceptions and disputed claims. Integrations and data flows were implemented along category-aligned patterns, reconciling SAP Concur Expense expense records with corporate card feeds and the purchase ledger for payment orchestration and reporting. The deployment established a single Expense Management source of record for employee spend, with governance layered into authorisation, supplier payment runs, and accounts payable operations.

IRIS Software Legacy IRIS Financials Consolidation Financial Consolidation and Close EPM n/a 2008 2008
In 2008, Assura implemented IRIS Financials Consolidation to bring together the finances of its three main business divisions. IRIS Financials Consolidation, a Financial Consolidation and Close application, was selected to centralize the group ledger and standardize consolidated reporting across the organization, and it was chosen over a number of other providers. The implementation focused on central consolidation functionality typical of Financial Consolidation and Close systems, including a central consolidation engine, standardized chart of accounts alignment, intercompany eliminations and period close workflows. IRIS Financials Consolidation was configured to deliver consolidated financial statements and standardized reporting templates to the corporate finance team and divisional controllers. Assura had been operating different software packages within its main business divisions and central finance, including Pastel, Sage and Manhattan, which did not interface and had reached limits of functionality. The IRIS implementation was configured to interface with those divisional systems to streamline data collection into the central consolidation layer, covering finance operations across the three divisions and the central corporate finance function while the estate of roughly 300 property sites remained in operational property systems. Governance was tightened by introducing centralized consolidation processes and a single source of consolidated information to improve the way Assura manages financial information. The IRIS Financials Consolidation deployment supported the company through a period of rapid business growth and improved consolidated information management as described by Assura.
