The effort was executed as a capital project under the Associate Director, Mfg/QA System Validation who held responsibility for Veeva QualityDocs, Veeva QMS, Veeva RIM Suite, Veeva eTMF, PromoMats, MedComms and Veeva CRM, and for UL ComplianceWire. The project followed an aggressive schedule that was reduced by more than 50 percent to meet a corporate milestone to reduce spending and to equip Regulatory Operations to perform work in house.
Operational scope emphasized Regulatory Operations and manufacturing quality oversight, aligning learning workflows with regulatory content planning. Ultrus ComplianceWire was positioned to support ongoing compliance training needs while the Veeva RIM modules delivered submissions content planning and publishing capabilities.

Configuration work emphasized data governance, access controls and report cataloging consistent with Analytics and BI best practices for regulated life sciences environments.
The implementation was executed with Arbela Technologies as the system integrator, leveraging Arbela and Microsoft experience and explicitly integrating Microsoft Power BI with Ataras expanding Microsoft portfolio, including Dynamics 365. Integration work focused on ingesting data from Microsoft application sources and other operational systems to replace paper workflows and unify reporting streams into a single Analytics and BI surface.
Governance and rollout were managed as a partnership between Ataras IT organization and Arbela Technologies, with Arbela positioned as an extension of the IT team according to Jeff Ketelhut, Vice President, Head of IT. Arbela and Microsoft were cited as contributors to delivering on company growth and success, with the program emphasizing phased rollout, IT led governance, and business user enablement for analytics adoption.
