In 2024 Atrium Hospitality implemented Macorva EX to run enterprise employee engagement and manager enablement programs across approximately 7,500 US employees. Macorva EX, an Employee Experience application, was deployed to centralize manager coaching, lifecycle surveys, and engagement programming for hourly and salaried workforce segments.
The implementation configured Macorva EX modules for manager coaching and lifecycle surveys, alongside campaign orchestration for employee engagement and manager enablement workflows. AI coaching was enabled as part of the manager coaching capability and is referenced in the case study as a core module driving manager actions. Configuration emphasized manager-facing action items and automated survey cadence to support ongoing engagement measurement.
A Workday integration was implemented to sync HR data into Macorva EX, providing a persistent employee and manager roster for targeted coaching and surveys. Operational coverage spanned the enterprise in the United States, with HR and people managers as primary operational users and escalation into regional leadership workflows. The integration and roster sync supported role based assignment of manager actions and survey distributions.
The rollout was completed in six weeks and produced 500 plus manager actions within 30 days after go live, with engagement results reported in the top 25 percent benchmark band and a reported 30x ROI on AI coaching. Manager coaching and lifecycle surveys are described in the case study as the primary modules in use, and governance focused on manager enablement workflows and ongoing cadence for engagement measurement and coaching follow up.

In 2016, Atrium Hospitality implemented Hilton OnQ PMS. The Hilton OnQ PMS was deployed across Atrium properties as part of the company Real Estate Property Management footprint to centralize front office posting, tax handling, and city ledger controls.
Configuration work focused on property-level fiscal controls and revenue posting. Staff programmed the OnQ PMS system to ensure correct tax rates and charge codes and to enforce consistent revenue posting guidelines. Daily income audit processes were operationalized, with verification of credits, revenue reversals, service recoveries and cash variances tracked as part of routine front desk and accounting reconciliations.
The implementation operated alongside a set of accounting and procurement systems that were explicitly used by Atrium. OnQ postings and front office controls were coordinated with Profit Sage for daily income audit tracking, with accrual and reclass journal entries recorded in M3 Acknowledge and Sage 300 accounting software. Accounts payable and expense workflows were managed through Birchstreet purchase order and declining checkbook tooling, and corporate AP procedures were supported with vendor Metriq for outsourced AP processes and credit card chargeback handling.
Governance and operational rollout included training of department heads and property accounting teams, travel by central accounting staff to assist onsite directors, and establishment of city ledger collection procedures. Process controls extended to daily cashier verification versus the general ledger and ongoing monthly expense forecasting and budget advisory to general managers. Atrium documented collection targets and operational standards to maintain receivable discipline across properties, an outcome explicitly tied to achieving no accounts over 30 days past due at month end.
