In 2021, AustralianSuper implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Accounts Payable as its AP Automation solution. The deployment focused on the finance organization, notably the accounts payable team in Melbourne, supporting department level financial controls and preparation of reporting for executive and board review.
Configuration centered on accounts payable invoice processing, automated invoice matching and approval workflows, electronic payment processing, vendor master verification, corporate card administration and reconciliations that feed the general ledger. Governance and process controls emphasized coding and approvals within set timeframes, administration of corporate credit cards, and maintaining department level accounting processes and reconciliations in support of financial reporting. Operationalization was centered on the Melbourne finance function, with finance analysts using the Oracle application to maintain controls and reporting at department and executive levels.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018, AustralianSuper implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as part of an Oracle Fusion Cloud suite rollout across finance, HR and procurement. The deployment targeted Core HR capabilities and centralized employee records, role and position management, and onboarding workflows to support HR and payroll functions.
Configuration work for Oracle Cloud HCM focused on role mapping, security model alignment, and process-driven HR transactions, with emphasis on configuring approval flows and change-of-status automation consistent with Core HR functional patterns. The implementation included development of learning and support materials, including videos, to support capability adoption and standardize operational procedures.
Integrations were executed within the Fusion Cloud suite to align Oracle Cloud HCM with finance and procurement modules, and the program ensured that external vendors and other third-party users were included in the support model. Operational coverage extended across HR, payroll, procurement and finance stakeholders, and Super user networks were established across each workstream to provide ongoing first-line support and knowledge transfer.
Governance and rollout were driven by a dedicated Change Manager working closely with the Program Director, who executed a detailed stakeholder management plan, identified impacts to jobs, roles and tasks, and developed comprehensive action plans to transition people to new ways of working. The program delivered a communications plan, structured training approach, and a go live support model to ensure users and external parties were appropriately supported during and after cutover.
