| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics GP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012 Availity implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP as its ERP Financial application. The deployment focused on centralizing core finance and accounting capabilities, with Microsoft Dynamics GP configured to support general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows and standard financial period controls. The implementation reflects a midmarket scale ERP Financial deployment for a 1500 employee professional services company and aligns with formalized application inventory efforts.
The organization created an enterprise application software inventory using SharePoint 2010 that cataloged Salesforce, Great Plains, Concur and IT 360 alongside Microsoft Dynamics GP. SharePoint 2010 served as the authoritative registry for application ownership, version records and integration mapping, supporting governance of the ERP Financial footprint and its relationships to peripheral SaaS systems. The inventory entry explicitly listed Microsoft Dynamics GP within the company application portfolio and helped surface cross-system dependencies.
Operational coverage concentrated on finance and accounting business functions, leveraging Microsoft Dynamics GP to standardize transaction posting and financial close processes. The combined use of Microsoft Dynamics GP and a SharePoint 2010 application registry emphasized application portfolio management and financial system standardization rather than documented outcomes, costs or external implementation partners.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Availity implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR platform. Workday HCM was configured to centralize employee lifecycle and talent workflows across HR, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Management functions.
The implementation emphasized Core HCM capabilities, with explicit configuration of business processes, condition rules, custom notifications, and security groups. Functional modules deployed include Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Benefits administration, performance management workflows such as Quarterly Check-ins and Annual Performance Reviews, and open enrollment orchestration. Workday custom reports and calculated fields were built and maintained to support compliance, analytics, and audit requests, and EIB uploads were used for bulk data transactions.
Integrations were established with third-party services explicitly including Codility, HireRight, and ChangEngine, and IT partnership was used to test integrations and validate data accuracy between Workday and external systems. Operational coverage included HR and payroll collaboration across the United States and support to HR Business Partners in India, with centralized technical support delivered from Jacksonville and remote teams.
Governance and operationalization focused on UAT leadership for Workday releases, production migrations, release evaluation, and coordination with HR to adopt system enhancements. Security administration responsibilities covered both role based and user based access, while day to day operations included troubleshooting, configuration maintenance, JIRA ticket management, end user training, and mentoring of HRIS staff across US and India.

| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Power BI | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2015 | 2018 |
In 2015 Availity implemented Microsoft Power BI to centralize analytics for its administrative, financial, and clinical services, aligning the deployment with the companys Analytics and BI strategy. The Microsoft Power BI deployment was positioned to provide interactive dashboards and self-service reporting layered on top of existing semantic models and OLAP artifacts.
The implementation reused and extended existing data modeling work, including star and snowflake schemas designed with Erwin, physical DDL scripts, and SSAS cubes. Microsoft Power BI was configured to consume semantic models and aggregated datasets built from SSAS, with data models and report definitions supporting drill through and parameterized reporting workflows consistent with enterprise BI practices.
Architecturally the project integrated Power BI with an MS SQL Server 2005 based Enterprise Services Warehouse, using SSIS and DTS packages to extract and transform data from OLTP sources, Oracle and Excel files into the EDW and OLAP layers. Deployment workflows leveraged SSIS templates to enable dynamic deployments into Dev, Test and Production environments, and tuning practices used SQL Server Profiler, Query Analyzer and indexing strategies to optimize upstream queries and cube performance.
Data governance and operational controls were maintained through a documented ETL architecture, column mapping, data dictionary and metadata artifacts, ongoing cube reviews with end users, and database-level procedures for backup, restore and performance tuning. The Microsoft Power BI implementation supported analytics across Availitys business functions serving health care providers, health plans and technology partners, operating on established SSIS, SSAS and SQL Server foundations.
