In 2012, Avon implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial platform. The work encompassed full project lifecycle activities including implementation, configuration and production support for SAP ERP ECC 6.0.
The deployment was built on the SAP NetWeaver technology stack, using NetWeaver 7.0 and 7.3 components such as Enterprise Portal 7.0, BW7.0, PI 7.3, SLD and Solution Manager 7.1/7.0 to provide application, integration and management layers. The landscape design included multiple application servers across UNIX and Windows environments, with installation, support pack application, kernel upgrades and tablespace administration incorporated into the technical baseline.
Operational configuration emphasized integration and runbook processes, with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 linked to BW for analytics, PI 7.3 functioning as the integration middleware and Enterprise Portal providing user access while Solution Manager provided lifecycle and monitoring control. Client administration was executed as a formal process covering client creation, client copy, client export and client deletion, and transport management was governed via the Change and Transport System with TMS and STMS used for scheduled transports.
System governance and operations relied on SAP CCMS for proactive monitoring, SNOTE for applying SAP notes, and structured change workflows to support troubleshooting, performance tuning and capacity planning. Database management and availability practices included backup and restoration using BR tools and table space management as part of ongoing production support.

In 2015 Avon implemented ServiceNow HR as part of a broader ServiceNow deployment, positioning the platform within the HR Service Delivery category to centralize employee service processes. The ServiceNow HR implementation was delivered alongside ITSM and ITBM modules to create an end to end integrated service fabric, enabling a unified approach to case intake, knowledge management, and HR case lifecycle automation across IT and HR functions.
Configuration focused on standard HR Service Delivery capabilities, including employee service center workflows, HR service catalog items, case routing and lifecycle automation, and knowledge base integration. ServiceNow HR was configured to interoperate with existing IT service workflows, allowing HR case escalation into ITSM incident and change processes where cross functional resolution was required.
Integrations were explicit and instrumental to the design, ServiceNow HR exchanged identity and provisioning signals with Azure AD, synchronized HR transactional data with Workday, and received operational telemetry from monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds and Splunk to surface service health within case and incident workflows. Centralized Identity and Access Management and Privileged Access Management solutions were integrated with ITSM to enforce access controls and to support internal control objectives.
Governance and operating model adjustments accompanied the technical rollout, with a move to a lean and agile IT model and establishment of centers of excellence to manage ServiceNow HR configuration, release cadence, and process ownership. The integration of IAM and PAM into ITSM supported SOC1 certification and ongoing SOX audit readiness, aligning ServiceNow HR with enterprise compliance and IT as a Service operating principles.

Ongoing management focuses on policy governance, regional support coordination, and ensuring Concur Travel remains aligned with corporate P2P and finance process controls.
