| Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics AX | Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2022 | 2023 |
In 2022, Azelis implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations to centralize ERP Financial processes across finance and supply chain. The project migrated the company from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 into a cloud enabled Dynamics 365 environment, building on an earlier Azure Virtual WAN initiative to connect its global network.
The deployment encompassed Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules, with configuration focused on core finance, procurement, and supply chain capabilities. Functional improvements included Excel based bulk upload for multi line purchase orders and in email approvals, enabling streamlined transactional workflows and faster user task completion.
Azelis integrated Dynamics 365 with Microsoft 365 productivity tools, and the implementation emphasized end to end data flow connecting the customer portal, principal portal, and the company e Lab, so that enterprise data sets communicate across the organization. The cloud enabled architecture replaced the previous on premises server model, reducing infrastructure maintenance and consolidating global operations into a single SaaS platform.
Governance and rollout used a relationship centered change management approach, combining segmented communications, guides, and local feedback loops with strong leadership sponsorship. Microsoft FastTrack provided telemetry and performance guidance, and implementation partner A Collective supported preparation and testing, enabling user acceptance testing to finish two months ahead of schedule.
Azelis went live with 71 entities simultaneously, reclaiming operational time previously consumed by on premises maintenance, and eliminating frequent multi hour outages that had interrupted business during updates. Reported outcomes included faster updates now scheduled within light usage windows, reduced update duration to no more than an hour and a half, faster purchase order processing that moved from ten minutes to seconds, improved usability and security, and lower infrastructure costs while supporting the companys sustainability objectives.

In 2016, Azelis deployed Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices formerly Kofax ReadSoft Invoices as an Intelligent Document Processing solution to standardize incoming invoice processing for its Accounts Payable function. The implementation targeted Azelis AP processes and ran between February 2016 and October 2016, with direct operational ownership by accounting and supplier follow up teams within the companys finance organization.
Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices was configured to capture and classify incoming billed documents, execute OCR and automated verification through ReadSoft Verify, and route exceptions for manual resolution. Approved invoices were posted into AX Dynamics, creating a straight path from capture and validation to ERP posting, and the deployment emphasized invoice capture, validation workflows, exception handling, and AP posting automation. Governance changes focused on shifting invoice verification responsibilities to the AP accountant and formalizing supplier follow up within the accounts payable workflow.
