In 2022, R.W. Braid implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP to consolidate core finance and reporting for its investment and wealth management operations. Oracle PeopleSoft ERP was deployed as the firm level ERP Financial platform to support accounting workflows across partnership reporting, month end close, and FP&A activities.
Configuration focused on standard ERP Financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, fixed asset accounting, cash management, and financial reporting. The deployment included transaction level configuration to support partnership accounting processes such as capital calls and distributions, routine reclass and accrual entries, and automated journal posting to streamline month end close and consolidate business unit results.
Operational coverage extended to Financial Planning and Analysis, Investment Operations, Reporting, and teams supporting audit and tax deliverables. Day to day reporting workflows used Excel alongside Oracle PeopleSoft ERP for ad hoc analysis and formatted investor reporting, with PeopleSoft serving as the authoritative transactional ledger for portfolio and partnership entries.
Governance and process changes emphasized standardized journal procedures, controlled reclass and accrual workflows, and consolidated reporting templates for business unit leaders. Implementation instruments aligned system usage to existing partnership accounting tasks and audit support processes without referencing any implementation partner.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019 R.W. Braid implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR platform. The deployment targeted enterprise HR and workforce management for the firm, consolidating employee master data, organizational structures, and transactional HR processing for an approximately 4,500 employee population in the United States.
Workday HCM was configured to support standard Core HR capabilities including employee records, position and job management, benefits administration, time and absence tracking, and foundational talent management workflows, aligning HR operational processes with the Core HR functional model. The implementation was delivered alongside greenfield financial systems for commissions, promissory notes, and compliance reporting as part of a broader systems program.
The Workday HCM rollout was integrated into the broader ERP and fintech architecture using API first strategies and event driven patterns, enabling HR data flows into systems referenced in the program such as Salesforce, Coupa, NetSuite and treasury systems, and into finance analytics tools including Kibana and Power BI. These integrations were oriented around real time data exchange, reconciliation, and embedding HR attributes into finance and compliance reporting channels.
Governance changes aligned HR master data stewardship with SOX compliance and regulatory reporting processes, and the Workday HCM migration in 2019 was executed in parallel with finance automation and ERP modernization efforts. Workday HCM migration was reported as successful, and the platform forms a core element of R.W. Braid Workday HCM Core HR support for human resources and cross functional finance governance.

In 2013, R.W. Baird deployed HP Process Automation, formerly LiquidOffice from Cardiff, to support its private wealth client onboarding toolset within US wealth management operations. The implementation is categorized under Business Process Management and is described in recruiting materials as a core technology for client planning and onboarding workflows. The year 2013 marks the placement of HP Process Automation in Baird's onboarding stack and anchors its use for accelerating paperwork processing across client facing teams.
The implementation focused on form orchestration, workflow automation, and electronic document capture and routing to accelerate client onboarding and paperwork processing. HP Process Automation was configured to drive structured onboarding forms and automated approval routing, with process orchestration layered into existing private wealth intake and client planning activities. Workflows were tuned for finance specific onboarding steps which align with standard Business Process Management capabilities such as data validation, conditional routing, and audit trail generation.
Operationally the system was embedded in Baird's US wealth management operations and used by client planning and onboarding functions across private wealth teams. Governance centered on workflow stewardship in the onboarding function, with configuration and process ownership assigned to private wealth operations and technology teams to manage ongoing form updates and process change.
