IBM WebSphere Business Modeler was used for process modeling and BPEL export, producing executable process definitions and orchestration artifacts intended for integration with runtime BPM components. The implementation emphasized modeling-driven workflow design, formalized process definitions, and the generation of BPEL to bridge design-time models to service-oriented runtime environments. Integration work connected the modeled processes to existing back-office services, integrating services across legacy systems to enable end-to-end orchestration of registration and reconciliation tasks. Operational coverage focused on registrar and enrollment management functions and other student-facing transaction flows to reduce queuing and streamline address reconciliation. Governance and rollout were managed within the broader IBM BPM and SOA program, with module usage and the process modeling to BPEL export pattern documented in the IBM case study.
