In 2020, Ashish Life Science implemented ZingHR HCM as its Core HR platform to centralize HR and administrative operations. The deployment explicitly targeted the corporate Head Office, the manufacturing plant, the R&D unit, and international operations across Tanzania, Ethiopia, Russia, Nigeria, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Chad, and Cameroon, aligning HR service delivery and governance across multiple geographies.
ZingHR HCM was configured to automate core HR modules including attendance tracking, payroll processing, and performance management. The implementation included designing Performance Management System formats, embedding KRA and KPI templates into review workflows, and delivering companywide training on performance criteria and review timing to ensure consistent evaluations across sites.
The program operationalized HR automation and analytics workflows to support talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation and benefits, statutory compliance, and succession planning. Analytics capabilities were embedded to provide governance insights and to instrument HR processes for monitoring, while HR automation reduced manual processing across routine HR functions.
Governance and policy controls were implemented in parallel, including a code of conduct and non disclosure agreement framework, periodic compliance audits, statutory compliance management, wage negotiations and union engagement oversight, and POSH training with Internal Committee member certification. These governance measures were tied into HR processes managed through ZingHR HCM to enforce policy adherence and auditability.
Operational outcomes articulated by HR leadership included full digitalization of core HR processes through ZingHR HCM, centralized and timely PMS reviews across locations, rollout of a Buddy Onboarding Scheme to address early attrition, targeted leadership hiring, and the deployment of succession planning frameworks to build internal leadership pipelines.
