| FICO | Legacy | FICO Falcon Fraud Manager | AML, Fraud and Compliance | TRM | n/a | 2013 | 2013 | In 2013, Barclays Singapore implemented FICO Falcon Fraud Manager as a core component of its AML, Fraud and Compliance tooling for the BarclayCard card lifecycle. The deployment targeted both application fraud and transactional fraud detection use cases and was managed from a product integration lead role embedded with BarclayCard operations. The implementation configured FICO Falcon Fraud Manager to operate alongside multiple fraud products used across card lifecycle orchestration, including Fico Falcon Expert instances, DecTech Instinct, and Experian TSM Transact SM, addressing rules-based decisioning and real-time transaction scoring typical of AML, Fraud and Compliance platforms. Deliverables included end-to-end process documentation, solution walkthroughs for business stakeholders, and interface mapping artifacts that defined data flows and decision points between fraud engines. Architecturally the implementation was delivered into an enterprise middleware and server environment, with deployment and environment setup activities carried out on Linux servers and operational interfaces to AIX, WebSphere Application Server, SQL Server, and JVM runtimes. Release engineering and operations used tools and access methods such as Putty and BladeLogic, and responsibilities explicitly covered build release artifacts, RFC creation, environment provisioning, and deployment orchestration. Program governance emphasized cross-team coordination and formal signoff, including weekly status calls with stakeholders, solution walkthroughs to obtain business approvals, coordination with vendor SMEs for installation guidance, and participation in software release and post-release support for product launch. Documentation and interface mapping were used to align IT, fraud operations, and card business teams on operational workflows and run-booked deployment procedures. |
