Catapult Legacy Catapult Pro Video Video Editing Content Management n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, Baylor University Athletics implemented Catapult Pro Video to integrate wearable, video and athlete management data across its NCAA Division 1 program. Catapult Pro Video Video Editing was adopted to centralize video tagging, analysis and sharing workflows that support performance planning and medical reporting for the department. The implementation configured video analysis capabilities alongside Catapult S5 wearable data streams and AMS by Catapult, enabling synchronized timeline review and data overlay for performance and injury context. Functional capabilities emphasized in the rollup included video tagging and sharing, synchronized playback with sensor-derived load metrics, and workflow access for coaches, strength and conditioning staff, and medical personnel. Integrations consolidated inputs from Catapult wearables, the AMS by Catapult athlete management system, and existing video tagging workflows used by Baylor, bringing these sources into a unified review and planning environment. Operational coverage extended program-wide, supporting more than 500 student athletes across all 19 Bears teams, and aligning sport performance, sports medicine, and coaching functions around shared evidence. Governance centered on embedding the Catapult Pro Video Video Editing platform into daily sports medicine and performance workflows, with medical reporting routed through AMS by Catapult to collate and action clinical information. Baylor staff described the combined wearable, video and AMS capability as critical for mitigating injury risk, quantifying readiness for competition, mapping return to play, and improving the way medical data is collected and communicated.
