| SAP | Legacy | SAP HCM (HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, BCE implemented SAP HCM (HR) within a Core HR deployment to centralize employee record and payroll capabilities across its HR operations. The initiative targeted consolidation of employee master data, standardized payroll processing workflows, and alignment of HR and payroll business functions to support ongoing operational governance.
The implementation concentrated on employee record management and payroll configuration, with workstreams addressing payroll calculation rules, employee lifecycle event handling, and linkage between HR master data and pay elements. Stakeholders participated in setting objectives, strategies, roadmaps, plans, programs and performance measures for the improvement of SAP HCM (employee record & payroll) and Mediapulse (time entry), embedding performance measures into program planning and roadmap milestones.
Operational integration included Mediapulse for time entry, with timekeeping data used to inform SAP HCM payroll processing and workforce records. Governance and process work emphasized cross functional alignment between HR, payroll, and timekeeping teams, using defined roadmaps and program plans to steer configuration changes, update operational procedures, and instrument ongoing performance measurement for the Core HR environment.

| Salesforce | Legacy | Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) | Field Service Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2010 | 2010 |
In 2010, BCE implemented Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) to formalize its Field Service Management capabilities and organize its mobile workforce. The deployment leveraged the Salesforce Field Service application to centralize scheduling and dispatch for field technicians, aligning field operations with BCEs broader service delivery functions.
Configuration focused on standard Field Service Management modules including automated scheduling and optimization, dispatcher console, work order lifecycle management, mobile technician application with offline synchronization, asset and parts tracking, and SLA enforcement. The implementation was configured within the Salesforce platform, preserving ClickSoftware operational patterns while adopting cloud-based case and work order orchestration.
Operational scope centered on BCEs field operations and network service teams, providing a unified workflow for dispatch, technician routing, and on-site service execution. Governance emphasized scheduling policies, service-level controls, and role-based access for dispatchers and mobile technicians to standardize field processes and enforce operational consistency.

| Altair Engineering | Legacy | Altair AI Cloud (formerly RapidMiner Cloud) | ML and Data Science Platforms | AI Development | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, BCE deployed Altair AI Cloud, formerly RapidMiner Cloud, as an ML and Data Science Platform to support production machine learning use cases. BCE purchased and implemented the RapidMiner data science platform to build and operationalize an SMS spam detection application and to structure a centralized data science capability.
The implementation combined Altair AI Cloud model development and pipeline orchestration with interactive experimentation in Jupyter Notebooks and Python PySpark workflows. Functional capabilities implemented included feature engineering and distributed model training, model scoring pipelines for production inference, and notebook driven exploratory analytics, all coordinated through the Altair AI Cloud environment.
Data integration and runtime execution were anchored on Cloudera CDH with Hive and Impala used for data access and SQL based feature extraction, while PySpark provided distributed processing for large message datasets. The production SMS spam detection application used the Altair AI Cloud model assets alongside these Big Data components, and development relied on the RapidMiner authoring environment for pipeline design.
Operational governance was led by a centralized data science virtual team that developed model lifecycle practices, coordinated deployments to production, and maintained model assets in Altair AI Cloud. BCE Altair AI Cloud ML and Data Science Platform SMS spam detection reflects an implementation that fused cloud data science tooling with on premises Cloudera data infrastructure and team based governance to operationalize machine learning for messaging security.
