| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2011 | 2012 |
In 2011, Beach Energy implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its core ERP Financial platform to consolidate newly acquired assets across Australia and New Zealand. The implementation was part of an asset migration program that moved management of vendor systems into the Beach Energy IT landscape built around SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and targeted supply chain and maintenance operations.
The supply chain project stream delivered an integrated procurement solution centered on SAP and Coupa Procurement, combined with SAP inventory management and procurement functionality to support SAP Plant Maintenance. Functional implementation emphasized procurement workflows, inventory control and the transactional processes required to feed plant maintenance work orders, aligning procurement and inventory records with maintenance planning.
Integrations included a bidirectional procurement orchestration between SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and Coupa Procurement, and functional interfaces to SAP Plant Maintenance to ensure spare parts availability and maintenance procurement traceability. The program also encompassed data migration and reconciliation activities to absorb asset management and procurement data originating from vendor Oracle-based IT environments into the SAP ECC landscape.
Governance was organized through the supply chain project stream, which owned requirements, configuration and cutover sequencing for procurement, inventory and maintenance workflows. The rollout emphasized process alignment across procurement, supply chain and maintenance teams, with configuration and master data controls established to maintain consistent inventory and procurement records in SAP ERP ECC 6.0.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | DyFlex Solutions | 2021 | 2022 |
In 2021, Beach Energy implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR platform. The deployment established SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the authoritative HR system for employee records and personnel administration, aligning the Core HR application with Beach Energy's HR and workforce management functions.
The implementation focused on standard Employee Central capabilities including core HR data model, organizational management, position and job structures, and employee lifecycle workflows. Configuration emphasized functional security, application licensing compliance, and ongoing patch management to support day to day SAP application management responsibilities for roughly 800 users and stakeholders in Melbourne and across the organization.
Integrations were implemented to create end to end workflows with Coupa Procurement and Viziya Workforce Planning, and to align with broader Success Factors HRM components referenced by the internal SAP support team. System interfaces are continuously monitored and administered, with cross custodial collaboration to ensure appropriate handoffs and automation between HR records, procurement triggers, and workforce planning inputs.
Governance and operational delivery were structured around internal system custodianship and an external service relationship with DyFlex Solutions. DyFlex Solutions holds contract management and application service delivery responsibilities, providing SAP technical and functional support, while internal governance covers change management, service delivery, user support, and interface oversight.

In 2018 Beach Energy implemented Oracle Enterprise Asset Management as an Enterprise Asset Management solution to support operations and maintenance across its Victorian and Western Australian gas plants. The deployment targeted operational planning for sites including the Beharra Springs Gas Plant in Western Australia and multiple Victorian assets, aligning the application to field maintenance workflows and asset stewardship responsibilities.
Oracle Enterprise Asset Management was configured for master data management and maintenance planning, with planners creating and modifying equipment records, maintenance activities, and maintenance plans in the application. Routine maintenance scheduling and work status tracking were executed through Oracle EAMS and complementary Viziya software packages, embedding maintenance plan configuration and scheduling into day to day operations.
Scheduling coordination extended into project and shutdown planning through explicit use of Primavera P6 to produce detailed, resource leveled schedules, enabling planners to align long lead activities with routine work and shutdown windows. Operational ownership rested with Operations and Maintenance Planning teams covering VIC and WA assets, with governance practices centered on master data stewardship and schedule driven planning and statusing of maintenance projects.
