In 2008, Bel implemented SAP Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment supported financial and supply chain recordkeeping while enabling SKU-level demand forecasting, budgeting and planning across commercial, production and logistics functions.
SAP Business Suite configurations included SAP modules SC, SD and MM with designated super users responsible for maintaining MRP for MPS and updating weekly and monthly forecasts. The implementation incorporated medium and long-term forecast inputs from JDA Software to load the company budget and to balance baseline and promotional activity by SKU. Activation and implementation of EDI ORDERS and INVOIC reporting were completed in X400 or AS2 environments to automate order and invoicing flows.
Operational coverage extended to collaboration with the master planner at headquarters in Paris for foreign factory manufacturing plans, interfacing with logistics centers, distribution logistics and production planning for demand fulfillment. Business functions impacted included demand planning, customer service, sales, marketing, trade marketing and finance, with shared forecasting responsibilities and commercial issue management such as quota orders and promotional product assignments. Supply Chain function performance evaluation was instrumented through KPIs including Customer Service, Logistics Service Provider demand planning and invoicing.
Governance was formalized with weekly commercial committees and monthly demand meetings to manage overstock, out of stock situations and forecast closing, and quarterly Service Level Meetings with HQ to evaluate KPI performance and production criticalities. A Supply Chain representative from Bel participated on the Steering Committee to synchronize brand events, medium-term launches and cross-functional activities related to demand and supply planning.

In 2011 Bel implemented SAP HCM (HR) as its Core HR solution for the group, covering more than 11,000 employees. The SAP HCM (HR) deployment served as the authoritative Core HR record and centralized payroll processing and core personnel data across the organization.
The implementation encompassed core modules and functional workflows including Payroll in SAP HCM, Performance management, Recruiting, Compensation and Benefits, and Training and E learning. Talent and learning were further transformed through a SuccessFactors Talent and LMS cloud program, implemented alongside the Core HR footprint to modernize talent processes and LMS capabilities for the workforce.
Risk and compliance tooling was addressed in parallel with an SAP GRC rollout implemented for all subsidiaries, targeting roughly 3,000 users for fraud reduction and SOX compliance controls. Operational coverage therefore combined the SAP HCM (HR) Core HR engine, SuccessFactors for talent and LMS, and SAP GRC for compliance across the group.
Governance and operational ownership were formalized through a dedicated HRIS maintenance organization, led by an HRIS Maintenance Team Leader responsible for Payroll operations in SAP HCM, performance, recruiting, C and B, and training and e learning. That team included six direct reports and contractors, OPEX and CAPEX budget management, and definition of a three year IT strategic plan and budget to sustain Core HR and adjacent talent and compliance solutions.

| Generix Group | Legacy | Generix Vendor Managed Inventory | Inventory Management | SCM | n/a | 2023 | 2023 |
In 2023 Bel implemented Generix Vendor Managed Inventory as a SaaS rollout to operationalize Vendor Managed Inventory and collaborative replenishment with key retail customers. The implementation follows a long standing relationship with Generix Group dating back to 1998, and the rollout explicitly used the Generix Collaborative Replenishment VMI module to optimize procurement flows with retail partners.
The deployment focused on the Generix Collaborative Replenishment and VMI capability set, configured to centralize supplier replenishment rules, visibility of on shelf and in transit inventory, and automated order proposals for retail customers. Configuration work emphasized replenishment cadence, safety stock and order proposal thresholds consistent with Inventory Management functional patterns, and operational workflows for supplier accountable stock management.
Operational coverage targeted multiple countries including Egypt, Algeria, Belgium and Canada, aligning procurement, supply chain planning and customer account teams to VMI processes. The Generix Vendor Managed Inventory implementation was positioned to coordinate replenishment between Bel and its retail customers, embedding VMI-driven order orchestration into existing commercial and logistics workflows.
Governance and rollout proceeded under a SaaS delivery model beginning in 2023, with phased country adoption and configuration retention tied to the Generix Collaborative Replenishment module. The program explicitly targets lower stock levels and higher service rates as stated objectives, while preserving the application and process control model consistent with Inventory Management best practices.
