| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2005 | 2006 |
In 2005, Bell Flight implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial application, establishing a centralized financial application tier to support corporate accounting and financial reporting across its manufacturing operations. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 served as the primary system for enterprise financial control and transaction posting, aligning the company Application Category Business Function relationship as Bell Flight SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial finance operations.
The implementation focused on core financial modules and workflows typical for ERP Financial systems, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and Controlling, configured to handle period close, intercompany postings and cost accounting processes. Configuration and master data governance supported month end close and statutory reporting requirements, with the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 application configured for integrated financial transaction processing.
Operational activity recorded in 2018 and 2019 shows the SAP landscape running on Oracle databases and AIX infrastructure, with system refreshes on AIX and Oracle 12c and an Oracle database upgrade to 12.2, and use of Attunity Replication Server for replication tasks. Platform and integration layers documented include Solution Manager 7.2 for system management, PI for integration, Enterprise Portal and Fiori for user access, PERSONAS for UI customization, and SSO configured with Kerberos on the SAP GUI, indicating an evolved SAP technical architecture supporting the original ECC 6.0 deployment.
Change control and basis operations were governed through Rev-Trac change management and routine SAP Basis activities, including installs, support pack and kernel upgrades, system refreshes and database upgrades. These governance and operational practices implicated IT Basis teams, application support and finance stakeholders, maintaining the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment that underpins Bell Flight financial processing.

In 2020, Bell Flight implemented Sterling Background Check to establish a BackGround Screening capability within its HR operations and onboarding workflows. Sterling Background Check was provisioned to support screening workflows for new hires, rehires, interns, contractors and both union and non-union employees.
Configuration focused on candidate screening orchestration, background adjudication workflows and identity verification intake, with Sterling Background Check operated alongside SterlingOne E-Verify for I-9 processing. The implementation included creation of standard operating procedures and targeted training by HR Operations administrators to embed screening tasks into existing onboarding processes.
Integrations were explicitly tied to PeopleSoft employee records, Taleo onboarding records, Kronos timekeeping and OnBase document management to keep screening results, verification documents and hire status aligned across systems. Data synchronization and case routing from Sterling Background Check fed HRSC portal cases for downstream handling of exceptions and verification follow up.
Governance and operational rollout emphasized process documentation, training of new Operations team members, and cross functional coordination with Health Services, Benefits and Payroll. Day to day administration was handled by HR Operations staff who also maintained SOPs, audited data accuracy and supported the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex HR team in executing screening and compliance activities.

In 2011 Bell Flight deployed IgniteTech Infobright DB as a Data Warehouse to accelerate its large-scale Premier reporting application. The deployment was executed as part of a Zend and Infobright solution to improve dashboards and business intelligence across financial, HR, manufacturing and ERP data in the United States.
IgniteTech Infobright DB was configured as Infobright Enterprise Edition to serve as the analytic storage and query engine feeding BI and reporting workflows. Implementation focused on data warehouse and business intelligence capabilities, including high-performance analytical queries, data compression and support for dashboard visualizations and scheduled reporting.
Integrations included the Zend application tier and consolidated feeds from ERP, HR, manufacturing and financial systems to centralize reporting datasets for the Premier application. Operational scope covered enterprise reporting across finance, HR and manufacturing functions within the United States, unifying cross-domain datasets for downstream analytics.
Within months of deployment the implementation produced measurable outcomes, including up to 500% faster analytic queries and approximately 10:1 compression of datasets. Those outcomes improved BI responsiveness and dashboard performance for finance, HR and manufacturing reporting.
