Configuration work emphasized goal management and structured performance reviews, implementing cascading goals, review templates, and records to support succession planning. The implementation aligned role based workflows and manager calibration processes with regular performance cycles and talent review activities. Deployment scope included HR and management functions and supported sensitive reporting requirements for union negotiations, tax credits, and monthly reports through close collaboration between IT and HR. Bemis concurrently implemented WorkForce software to replace a paper based time system, improving time capture accuracy and the timeliness of payroll adjacent data. Rollout followed a requirements driven approach, with Programmer Analysts meeting users to prioritize requirements, surface business risk, and define program improvements. Governance practices included prioritized help desk triage and enhanced team communication, which reduced open help desk calls by 40 percent on average per month. The Cornerstone Performance Suite implementation enabled management to operationalize a goals based performance system while initiating succession planning and centralizing performance data across HR and management.
