Functional modules implemented included automated time and attendance capture with vein recognition biometric authentication to prevent buddy clocking, configurable shift and role handling for department heads, and an automated payroll export. The monthly export file is run from RITEQ and imports directly into Sage payroll as a two step process, eliminating manual timesheet consolidation and double entry. Operational coverage included all hotel departments, heads of department, the Accounts Team and HR, with configuration focused on ease of use for front-line staff and complex, configurable rules for managers. Governance shifted work away from manual consolidation, giving managers more floor time while Accounts retained control of payroll imports and reconciliation, supported by ongoing vendor helpdesk support. Reported outcomes from the Bicester Hotel deployment included reduced time spent collecting and collating timesheet data, fewer errors in payslips, elimination of time theft via biometric controls, positive staff and manager feedback, and a quicker, more reliable payroll import into Sage. The project narrative aligns the company Bicester Hotel Golf & Spa with the RITEQ Workforce Manager application and the Workforce Management category for hospitality workforce control and payroll integration.
