| SAP | Legacy | SAP Business One | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2008 | 2009 |
In 2008, Bio-Botanica implemented SAP Business One as its ERP Financial platform. The decision followed a period in which their incumbent system was roughly ten years old and no longer fully supported, prompting selection of a combined SAP Business One and BatchMaster ERP approach to centralize process manufacturing and core financial operations.
The implementation emphasized manufacturing and quality modules native to BatchMaster ERP layered with SAP Business One as the financial and master data core. Functional capabilities implemented include sample vendor inspection, document management and inbound quality controls, production planning and scheduling for custom extracting and blending workflows, spray-drying, vacuum drying and milling process management, plus comprehensive QC and QA features. The solution footprint was expected to support paperless manufacturing and barcode execution while embedding GMP, SOP and GLP operational practices, and to facilitate maintenance of Kosher and NSF certifications.
Architecturally the deployment wrapped BatchMaster ERP around SAP Business One to provide a centralized ERP Financial ledger and master item records, while BatchMaster delivered industry-specific process manufacturing workflows and quality instrumentation. Operational coverage was defined across R&D, Quality, Sales and Marketing, Warehousing and Distribution, Purchasing and Planning, and Accounting, with the intent that the entire item lifecycle from R&D through approval, manufacturing and distribution would be housed within the combined system.
Governance and rollout planning focused on translating documented workflow diagrams into system workflows and respecting mapped processes developed jointly by the Bio-Botanica project team and BatchMaster. The project team explicitly expected reductions in duplicate data entry and paper-based transactions, increased visibility including forward and backward traceability, and consolidation of peripheral point solutions such as CRM, LIMS, EQMS and WMS into the integrated SAP Business One and BatchMaster ERP environment.

In 2014, Bio-Botanica implemented Infor VISUAL, using Infor VISUAL as its Manufacturing ERP to centralize production planning, inventory control, and order management for its 300 employee manufacturing operations in the United States. The deployment established core manufacturing capabilities aligned with Manufacturing ERP functional patterns, including material requirements planning led scheduling, shop floor work order control, and inventory ledger workflows.
Operational integration relied on a SQL based synchronization layer that constantly updated ShipStation order data into Visual Enterprise ERP and Infor VISUAL order records. SQL driven processes were used to normalize incoming order feeds and preserve order status, fulfillment attributes, and transactional integrity between ShipStation and the ERP order lifecycle.
The implementation scope covered order management, fulfillment, and production planning across operations and distribution functions, with governance focused on standardized order data schemas and scheduled SQL refresh orchestration. Workflows were restructured to route ShipStation sourced orders through ERP order-to-cash and production release processes, with Visual Enterprise ERP and Infor VISUAL serving as the transaction hub for downstream manufacturing execution.

In 2012, Bio-Botanica implemented Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) as its Collaboration platform. The deployment uses Google Workspace cloud-hosted services under the corporate bio-botanica.com domain and is observable through artifacts on the company website.
Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) deployment includes core modules such as Gmail for corporate email, Calendar for scheduling, Drive for document storage, Docs, Sheets and Slides for collaborative authoring, and Meet for synchronous meetings. Administrative services were provisioned through the Google Admin console to manage user accounts, groups and organization-level security and sharing controls.
Operational scope covers company-wide collaboration across manufacturing, quality, research and development, sales and corporate functions for Bio-Botanica, a 300 employee manufacturing firm in the United States. Governance practices align with Collaboration category norms, including domain-based identity, centralized user provisioning and organizational unit based sharing policies, and the public site presence indicates linkage of the Google Workspace deployment to the corporate domain for email routing and collaboration link sharing.
