In 2008 Biocoop implemented Generix ERP as an ERP Financial platform to support a multi year program of growth and organizational reorganization. The initial deployment covered the holding and a network of 340 stores with ongoing rollouts and extensions averaging more than 30 stores per year.
Implementation emphasis centered on management services support and operational drivers for trade reorganizations, restructuring directorates and associated tools for Supply, Product, ADV and Finance. The Generix ERP deployment was stabilized and structured over time while being supplemented with new business modules to close functional gaps across commercial and financial workflows. A dedicated software company and a training school were created to operationalize configurations and to train store and holding staff.
Logistics computerization was executed on four distribution platforms and a transportation company, integrating warehouse and transport activities into the Generix ERP driven order to cash and inbound logistics flows. Digital initiatives included creation or review of institutional, transactional, ecommerce and internal communication sites, and implementation of unified communications including IP telephony, videoconferencing and support for in person and mobile working modes. The program also designed and implemented a Reversals Plan to standardize return and reversal activities across the network.
Operational governance combined process reorganization, centralized management services and a structured rollout cadence for new stores and modules, with the training school providing formal change management and user enablement. Evolution and security work on the information system increased tool availability from 87 to 99.9 percent and reduced group operating costs by 27 percent over three years across six companies. The deployment positions Generix ERP as the core ERP Financial backbone supporting supply chain, sales administration and finance functions across Biocoop.
