In 2024 Biscuitville FRESH SOUTHERN launched CBS NorthStar Online Ordering. Announced in April 2024, Biscuitville selected Lunchbox together with CBS NorthStar to deploy a native Online Food Ordering System across its 80+ U.S. locations, integrating web and app ordering with the point of sale to centralize order intake and guest engagement.
The CBS NorthStar Online Ordering implementation was configured to deliver core online ordering and guest engagement capabilities, including order management, guest profile capture, menu management and native web and mobile ordering experiences. The deployment emphasized a single front end for digital orders and a guest-engagement layer to support targeted communications and simplified pick up and fulfillment workflows.
Integration architecture centered on real time order transfer into restaurant point of sale systems, unifying digital orders with in-store operations and kitchen routing. The project scope covered the United States footprint of Biscuitville FRESH SOUTHERN and consolidated ordering channels into the operational flow of each store, reducing manual order entry between channels and POS.
Governance focused on phased rollout and operational alignment between store teams and digital operations, with implementation workstreams for menu governance, order routing rules and guest data management.
