In 2016, Bodi Insurance implemented Odoo Skills Management as part of a broader Odoo rollout across HR and finance in Mongolia. The deployment centralized HR, accounting and a customized claims workflow to consolidate employee data and financial posting within a single Odoo instance.
Odoo Skills Management was implemented alongside Employees, Recruitment and Time Off modules, delivering a Skills Intelligence capability to capture competencies, certifications and role profiles linked to recruitment and time off records. Configuration work emphasized linking skill records to employee master data and recruitment pipelines to support internal candidate matching and workforce planning.
The implementation integrated HR and accounting workflows inside Odoo, with a customized claims workflow that routed claim events into accounting entries and commission processing logic. Operational coverage included HR, finance and claims functions across the Mongolian business, enabling a unified record of hires, leaves, skills and claim transactions.
The project was led by ManageWall and ran for five months starting in 2016, with phased rollouts across the impacted departments. Reported outcomes from the implementation included reduced manual claim processing and improved commission calculations and reporting, while governance efforts focused on consolidating processes into Odoo driven workflows and centralized data management.
