Oracle Legacy Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2017 2018
In 2017, BombBomb implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to centralize its ERP Financial functions for the Finance Department. The deployment positioned Oracle NetSuite ERP as the system of record for billing, payment posting, and general ledger accounting within the company. The implementation configured core accounts receivable workflows to support contract invoicing, dispute resolution, and collections, and it established accounts payable and expense report processing to manage vendor invoices and employee reimbursements. Functional capabilities implemented include customer master data maintenance, refund validation and processing, entry of daily credit card deposits, chargeback research and reconciliation, auto-debit posting, and bank and general ledger account reconciliation. Oracle NetSuite ERP was used to capture and process multiple payment methods, specifically check, ACH, and credit card transactions, with transaction entry and reconciliation handled inside the finance application. Operational coverage focused on finance functions that required close coordination with customers and internal associates for invoicing discrepancies, past due accounts, and dispute resolution, while NetSuite served as the ledger and transactional hub. Governance and operational processes were organized around routine finance tasks, including verification that contracts are invoiced accurately and timely, communication workflows for resolving invoicing disputes, and recurrent reconciliation activities to align bank activity with G/L accounts. Day to day responsibilities in the Finance Department included reviewing vendor invoices, processing refunds, entering credit card and auto-debit transactions into NetSuite, and assisting other finance activities as needed.
