The deployment was scoped to support the retailer's corporate Human Resources organization and to provide operational absence management across its store workforce and corporate payroll processes. The implementation emphasized configuration of absence administration and accruals capabilities, including establishment and maintenance of business structure and cross reference tables, configuration of accrual schedules, and standardization of time-off request and approval workflows. UKG Pro Workforce Management Absence was configured to support reporting and analytics and to enable administrative and end user processes consistent with Absence and Leave Management functional expectations. Operational integration work included coordination with Oracle HCM resources, with the HR team and Oracle HCM Analyst aligning master HR data flows for payroll reconciliation, benefits eligibility, and headcount reporting. Corporate HR retained ownership of day to day system changes and data integrity tasks to ensure accurate flow of information into the absence application and into downstream payroll processes. Governance and support were centralized in the Corporate HR office, where a UKG Kronos Analyst serves as primary point of contact for troubleshooting, ticketing, upgrade testing, documentation, and end user training.
