In 2013, Bouygues Construction implemented Elium Knowledge Management as a centralized HR knowledge and collaboration platform. The Elium Knowledge Management deployment served as a Content Management solution to host HR procedures, HR news, project spaces and communities for collaborators across approximately 80 countries, supporting HR and internal communications functions at a global and Europe level.
The implementation configured centralized document repositories, news publishing flows, project spaces and community zones, combined with search, tagging and role based access control to organize and surface HR content. Elium Knowledge Management was used to structure procedures and committee materials, enabling collaboration around documents and community discussions typical of Content Management platforms.
Operational coverage focused on HR teams and cross functional collaborators across Bouygues Construction sites and regions, with a rollout oriented toward global HR and European operations while serving collaborators in about 80 countries. The platform supported project level workspaces and communities that extended beyond core HR to project teams and internal communications stakeholders.
Governance and process adaptation centered on consolidating HR content and committee documentation into a single managed repository, reducing siloed content and enabling more consistent access controls and publishing practices. The rollout improved access to HR documents, broke down silos and increased collaboration and digitalisation of HR committees as described in the Elium case starting in 2013.

In 2017, Bouygues Construction implemented Novade Connect, an iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service), to digitalise quality, inspections and site workflows on the RER E tunnelling and station works in France. The consortium delivering the RER E project used Novade to capture field records and standardise inspection workflows across tunnelling and station site teams.
Implementation centered on Novade Connect as the integration mechanism linking mobile field data and inspection records to BIM and 3D plans, enabling bidirectional syncing between field workflows and model based construction information. Functional capabilities deployed included quality management, structured inspections, site workflow orchestration, and onsite traceability, with mobile data capture feeding the integration layer for synchronization with BIM workflows.
Operational scope covered site teams, quality and inspection functions across the RER E tunnelling and station works in France, with governance adjusted to route inspection records through the Novade Connect integration layer into BIM linked project coordination processes. The project outcome explicitly improved onsite traceability and project coordination through synchronized field to BIM workflows using Novade Connect.
