In 2010, Bradesco Seguros implemented EbixAdvantage as an Insurance ERP to operationalize an on demand exchange and broker system. This implementation reflects the absorption of USIX exchange capabilities into Ebix’s Advantage family following the 2010 acquisition, and attributes the carrier exchange functionality to EbixAdvantage within the Insurance ERP category.
The deployment focused on exchange centric modules for quoting, underwriting intake, and broker distribution workflows, leveraging the AdvantageWeb style carrier and exchange capabilities that originated with USIX. Configuration work emphasized broker workflow orchestration, centralized quote adjudication, and underwriting rule capture, aligned with standard Insurance ERP functional patterns for rating, policy intake, and commission handling.
Architecture and delivery were executed as an on demand exchange broker system under the EbixAdvantage and AdvantageWeb portfolio, enabling centralized quote routing and distributed broker access across Bradesco Seguros’ network in Brazil. The solution consolidated exchange interfaces and carrier/exchange service functions into a single platform footprint, consistent with on demand exchange implementations.
Operational scope centered on underwriting, broker distribution, and commercial operations across Bradesco Seguros’ Brazilian broker network, with rollout oriented to broker connectivity and underwriting process alignment. Governance emphasized exchange transaction control and broker access management to standardize quoting and distribution workflows under EbixAdvantage.
