In 2015, Bridge Investment Group implemented Yardi Investment Accounting as its centralized Real Estate Investment application for fund and property-level accounting. The Yardi Investment Accounting deployment served Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Fund Management, FP&A, Information Technology and all fund verticals and was positioned to standardize accounting and investor reporting workflows across the firm.
The implementation configured Yardi Investment Accounting to support investment and fund accounting workflows, investor reporting automation, valuation workflows for multifamily assets, and generalized accounting process automation. Work included instrumenting investor reporting capabilities and aligning the application with business intelligence efforts to improve data feed consistency and reporting cadence.
Operationally the rollout included architecting a cloud platform for asset management and valuation, and integrating Yardi Investment Accounting with internally developed investor reporting and business intelligence platforms. Development and operations activities were coordinated across Provo, UT and Sandy, UT teams, with software and data staff responsible for developer training, issue resolution, and applying best practices to support day to day accounting and reporting operations.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical work, with a strategic roadmap for people, process, technology and business alignment, and a Project Execution Framework and Agile Scrum practices introduced to support delivery. These combined efforts, including business intelligence and accounting automation, helped to grow business from 3.7 billion AUM to over 20 billion AUM as stated in internal documentation and role summaries.
