In 2011, Bristol Water implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial application. Configuration work included customer master and transactional data alignment with the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 data model, and functional specifications to support front and back office transaction capture and billing related to the ERP Financial environment.
Integration and rollout activities included end to end system, integration and user acceptance testing, driven by test cases and scripts developed during the program. Design workshops were led to map customer contact processes, produce functional specifications, and create migration and testing artifacts, establishing governance for procedure changes and validation of CRM, web self service and SAP ECC interfaces.

In 2013, Bristol Water implemented SAP BW (Business Warehouse) as a Data Warehouse to centralize transactional and master data for finance, human resources, procurement, and CRM reporting. The implementation focused on instrumenting extraction and process chains to feed downstream reporting and to support operational workflows across Finance and HR, and procurement teams.
Configuration work included defining a formal interface between FI and HR to support special cost distributions for wage types, and redesigning a subset of wage type structures to capture more granular payroll charge detail. The SAP BW (Business Warehouse) model was extended with new data elements and mapping logic to retain wage type level cost allocations, with transformations and data models adjusted to support the additional attributes.
Operational integrations addressed SRM and CRM related error patterns, specifically developing discrete service request tracks for SRM zero value errors and errors in the workflow approval process, plus a special change request to permit editing of a shopping cart after approval. BW process chains for CRM were reviewed, new fields were added into the CRM extract and process, deltas were restarted to reinitialize flows, and error logs were examined as part of the restart and reconciliation activities.
Governance work formalized a change request and service request cadence for procurement workflow exceptions and payroll distribution updates, aligning request types with approval workflows and delta monitoring. Error handling and delta restart procedures were documented to support ongoing operations, with owners identified for FI to HR costing interfaces, SRM workflow resolution, and CRM field maintenance.
