In 2011, Broadway Industrial Group implemented Oracle Hyperion to centralize group financial consolidation for 14 legal entities across its global footprint. Oracle Hyperion was deployed as an EPM platform to consolidate results, control intercompany reporting and reconciliation, and support IFRS and other statutory reporting obligations for the holding company and its subsidiary Compart Hi-Precision Technologies (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd.
The implementation emphasized core EPM capabilities including statutory consolidation, intercompany elimination and reconciliation workflows, and standardized monthly financial and management reporting. The deployment also covered budgeting and forecasting workflows to compile the annual budget and monthly forecasts, with configuration of consolidation rules, reporting templates and process orchestration while retaining Microsoft Excel for user-driven data manipulation and ad hoc analysis.

The Hyperion implementation served as the centralized consolidation and planning layer for finance, supporting the monthly close, management reporting cycles and the group budgeting process across headquarters and local finance teams.
Governance design instituted intercompany reconciliation controls and a defined monthly submission cadence to the headquarter finance function, aligning consolidation workflows with IFRS and statutory compliance requirements. Training and process alignment focused on consolidations, intercompany matching and the handoff between local Excel processes and the centralized Oracle Hyperion EPM environment.
