Intuit Legacy Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise ERP Financial ERP x 2012 2012
In 2012 C Spire implemented Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment established a centralized accounting backbone for corporate finance and accounting functions within the company’s communications operations in the United States. The Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise implementation concentrated on core financial modules common to ERP Financial systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and cash management. The system was configured for multi user concurrent access with roles based security and permissions to separate transaction entry, approvals and financial reporting responsibilities. Operational coverage focused on corporate finance, accounts payable, receivables and procurement teams, with financial close and reporting workflows centralized inside Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise. Governance workstreams standardized the chart of accounts and instituted formal closing checklists and approval sequences managed through the application to align record keeping and audit controls. Rollout was executed function by function with targeted training for accounting teams and controllers, and governance emphasized segregation of duties and explicit role assignment within Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise to control transaction posting and ensure consistent financial process execution.
