In 2012, C Spire deployed UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper) in a Time and Attendance implementation to manage store-level timekeeping and scheduling responsibilities. The deployment assigned timekeeper ownership to manage the Kronos time keeping system for each store or stores assigned, centralizing scheduling duties and day-to-day timecard administration.
Configuration focused on core Time and Attendance capabilities, including employee time capture, schedule creation and maintenance, timecard editing, manager approval workflows, and exception handling. The UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper application was configured to support store manager scheduling workflows and to enforce attendance rules and time collection policies aligned with retail operations.
Operational scope was store-centric with timekeeper users responsible for assigned store rosters, schedule publication, and correction of punch data, impacting store managers, operations, payroll, and HR processes. In 2018, C Spire implemented Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) as its Field Service Management platform to standardize customer facing service for residential and commercial cellular and land line systems. This C Spire Oracle Field Service Cloud Field Service Management deployment supported customer service and field operations across service delivery and partner management functions.
The implementation encompassed Service, Field Service, Service Contracts, Depot Repair and Field Service Mobile modules, plus Service and Procurement Contracts to manage customer and partner agreements. The Service Functional Lead produced functional solution design specifications for custom development, and defined automated partner payment processes and warranty handling within contract workflows.
Design and integration work specified interfaces to Oracle EBS and non Oracle systems to synchronize order, warranty and financial data, and included mobile workflows for field technicians to execute dispatch, repair and return merchandise authorizations. Cross functional teams mapped and implemented end to end processes across customer care, operations, depot repair and partner management to ensure operational alignment.
Governance centered on the Service Functional Lead owning assessment, requirements and configuration decisions while steering rollout across business areas. The deployment operationalized partner contracts for warranty support and established procurement contract flows to automate partner payments and contract execution within Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect).
