Financial transactions and ledgers were routed to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central after SAP Finance was moved, establishing a dual-application landscape where CGS BlueCherry ERP manages merchandising and inventory while D365 Business Central handles corporate finance. Governance and rollout were led by Capezio senior operations leadership, with the company VP of Operations and eCommerce serving as project lead for the complete company system migrations. The program used cross-functional coordination across operations, eCommerce, finance and product teams, with staged cutovers and system integration checkpoints to align BlueCherry ERP, BlueCherry PLM, Shopify Plus, Shopify POS and D365 Business Central into a unified Retail Management operational footprint.
