In 2015, Carbon3D implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial solution. The cloud-hosted Oracle NetSuite ERP deployment centralized core finance and accounting functions for the Consumer Packaged Goods company, creating a single ledger and consolidated reporting fabric. The initial implementation scope targeted accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition and tax reporting workflows across corporate finance.
Configuration leveraged standard ERP Financial modules including general ledger, subledger accounting, fixed assets and period close orchestration, with role-based access controls to enforce segregation of duties. The program standardized the chart of accounts, automated journal posting and payment batching processes, and embedded period close workflows to strengthen month-end governance and audit trails. Operational ownership rested with finance and accounting teams, supported by process change management to align procurement and operations to the new financial controls.
