In 2020 Carlton Senior Living LLC implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to replace Microsoft Dynamics GP and Management Reporter. The program executed a companywide transition to a cloud based ERP Financial platform over a nine month period, targeting consolidation of finance and accounting systems across Carlton Senior Living LLC operations in the United States.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to deliver core ERP Financial capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting. Configuration included chart of accounts rationalization, consolidation of transactional posting rules and standardization of month end close workflows to align finance processes with NetSuite structures. Existing Management Reporter definitions and reporting outputs were migrated and rebuilt within NetSuite reporting and saved searches to centralize financial statements and operational reporting.
The deployment used a phased cutover approach over nine months with parallel validation runs to reconcile migrated balances prior to final switch off of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Management Reporter. Rollout sequencing emphasized stabilization of GL and AP processes before bringing AR and consolidated reporting online, with data migration scripts, reconciliation controls and validation checkpoints embedded in each phase.
Governance was centralized through a finance program office responsible for change control, configuration governance, user acceptance testing and documented cutover plans with stakeholder sign offs for each milestone. Oracle NetSuite ERP served as the cloud native ERP Financial backbone for Carlton Senior Living LLC following the program.
