In 2014, Caroli Foods Group implemented TotalSoft Charisma Asset Management as part of a broader Charisma Enterprise deployment to consolidate operations across its manufacturing and distribution businesses. The implementation targeted the Enterprise Asset Management category to centralize fixed asset registers and maintenance planning alongside financial and inventory controls for the group. Caroli Foods Group implemented TotalSoft Charisma Asset Management in 2014 to support both its manufacturing arm TC AFFAIRES and distribution arm Caroli Prod 2000, covering eight locations in Romania including Piteşti, Bucharest, Cluj, Timişoara, Constanţa, Galaţi, Braşov and Bacău. The deployment was positioned to provide group level visibility while allowing operational autonomy at each business line database. The project deployed multiple Charisma modules concurrently, including accounting, financials, purchasing, inventory management, fixed assets, human resources, payroll, logistics, maintenance, vehicle park, timesheet access, business intelligence and sales force automation. The manufacturing module was implemented to track order release, supply scheduling, business unit planning, manufacturing order management and step level validation of production flows, and it incorporated manufacturing cost calculation that combined direct and indirect expenses. TotalSoft Charisma Asset Management was configured to manage fixed assets and maintenance workflows, and the deployment included integration of physical measuring equipment into production flows to record finished goods directly at point of weighing. Operational integration focused on harmonizing master data and enabling group analytics, with each business line operating its own database while the Charisma Analyzer BI component retrieved and consolidated data for group reporting and decision making. The SFA module and portable terminals were implemented to capture customer orders in real time, supporting sales, distribution and order to cash visibility. Month end processes were restructured so the finance organization could close without technical intervention, driven by the centralized data model and real time reporting. Governance changes emphasized centralized reporting, standardized master tables and chart of accounts alignment to enable cross business decisions, while operational workflows were adjusted to validate manufacturing steps and capture costs at source. The implementation produced faster availability of consolidated information and enabled integrated management of manufacturing with sales and distribution operations, and the organization emphasized improved report accuracy and managerial visibility through the Charisma Analyzer BI capability.
