DadeSystems Legacy DadePay AR Automation AR Automation ERP Financial Management n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Carter Lumber implemented DadePay AR Automation within the AR Automation category to fully automate its invoice to cash application process. Carter Lumber selected the DadePay Software as a Service solution and assigned its Information Technology group top priority to expedite delivery, enabling a rapid implementation. "The implementation process moved along quickly and our bigger challenge was to re-engineer all the manual processes we had in place," said Seder. DadePay AR Automation was configured to support end to end cash application workflows, including electronic capture of remittance data, automatic matching of payments to open invoices, posting, and deposit as a straight through process. The deployment included DadePay Mobile AR to enable field capture of payments and remittance documents, with those records automatically reconciled and posted into the centralized cash application flow. Operational scope emphasized accounts receivable and the large national sales organization, with mobile capture shifting payment intake from office centric processes to the field. Carter Lumber prioritized process re engineering and centralized IT governance during rollout to map manual workflows into automated rules, standardize posting procedures, and support consistent deposit handling. Seder reported that the mobile and automation features liberated sales people from running checks to the bank and faxing remittance copies to the office, freeing their time to spend with customers and maintain the companys customer service standards established over 84 years. The implementation therefore centered on SaaS delivered AR Automation, mobile payments capture, and centralized cash application control using DadePay AR Automation.

Equifax Legacy Equifax CaseBuilder Platform Case Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 Carter Lumber deployed Equifax CaseBuilder Platform to centralize HR case processing across its distribution network. The Equifax CaseBuilder Platform was provisioned as a Case Management solution to consolidate claim intake, compliance tracking, and case lifecycle workflows for HR and safety teams. The implementation configured core case intake and routing capabilities, unemployment claims workflows, and FMLA case tracking aligned with federal requirements. Configuration also encompassed scheduling and tracking for background screenings and DOT random drug testing, driver qualification file tracking for CDL and non CDL drivers, and ad hoc HR reporting capabilities used by HR generalists for employee rosters and compensation reports. Operational coverage included HR operations across more than 170 locations, recruiting and onboarding coordination, and safety compliance functions that manage FMCSA related queries and follow up testing plans. The platform supported workflow orchestration for notifying field management and coordinating with third party administrators on DOT screening documentation, and it was used to investigate and complete an average of 10 unemployment claims weekly. Governance and process controls were established around case ownership by HR coordinators and generalists, event driven notifications for quarterly DOT programs, and biannual motor vehicle record reviews for CDL and non CDL drivers. Equifax CaseBuilder Platform served as the Case Management backbone for standardized case workflows, compliance monitoring, and centralized HR reporting across Carter Lumber.
