SAP Legacy SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial ERP SOA People 2017 2017
In 2017, CC Energie implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform to centralize core finance and value management activities. The rollout included deployment of Performer, SOA People’s Value Management Platform, to drive business value of IT systems and to provide prioritized recommendations for process improvement. SOA People acted as the implementation partner for Performer and supported the SAP S/4 HANA adoption effort. The SAP S/4 HANA implementation focused on ERP Financial capabilities, with configuration work aligned to standard financial workflows such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and controlling. The project explicitly targeted adoption of SAP Fiori user interfaces to modernize user experience and leveraged machine learning enabled features for automated recommendations and process optimization in financial operations. Performer was used to identify harmonization opportunities and to validate configuration choices against expected business value. Integrations centered on linking the Performer Value Management Platform with SAP S/4 HANA to surface improvement areas and to guide prioritization of configuration and automation activities. Operational scope covered CC Energie’s Swiss business and core business functions in finance and procurement, with process harmonization efforts extending across relevant departments. The engagement architecture emphasized a tight loop between value assessment outputs from Performer and iterative S/4 HANA configuration updates. Governance and rollout were structured around value management outputs, using Performer recommendations to shape phased deployment and process standardization across finance teams. SOA People provided implementation support and advisory to translate the platform recommendations into governance changes and rollout milestones. The combined approach delivered harmonised business processes and targeted optimizations during the SAP S/4 HANA adoption.
