| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Retail (ex Retek) | Retail Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, CCC S.A. implemented Oracle Retail (ex Retek) as its Retail Management platform to accelerate merchandising and planning capabilities across the Polish footwear retailer. The deployment focused on Oracle Retail Merchandising and Planning and Optimization solutions to support profitability-driven assortment and pricing decisions that will fuel expansion for the CCC Group.
The implementation included Oracle Retail Clearance Optimization, Oracle Retail Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, allocation, replenishment and merchandising modules. Oracle Retail Clearance Optimization was configured to generate fact-driven markdown recommendations and exception reporting by inventory style, colour and location, while Merchandise Financial Planning was used to reconcile the impact of discounts and automate pricing approval workflows.
Oracle PartnerNetwork Gold Level Partner Pronos supported the initial rollout of planning and optimization modules, and Accenture supported the subsequent implementation of Oracle Retail Merchandise Operations Management to establish a single view of inventory. Operational coverage extended across omnichannel retail operations, aligning assortment, allocation and replenishment workflows with inventory visibility to improve store and online execution.
Governance and process changes centralized analyst decisioning around system-generated recommendations, shifting pricing and markdown approval into structured workflows within Oracle Retail Merchandise Financial Planning. The new business process replaced fully manual markdown calculations with an automated engine that evaluates millions of combinations to surface recommendations and exceptions for merchant review.
Outcomes reported by CCC Group from the Oracle Retail (ex Retek) rollout include a 4.2% increase in gross margin and a 7.1% increase in inventory sell-through after deploying Oracle Retail Clearance Optimization. CCC S.A. described the platform as providing flexibility and a scalable foundation to support continued rollout of merchandise operations and inventory orchestration.
