Governance and process changes centralized analyst decisioning around system-generated recommendations, shifting pricing and markdown approval into structured workflows within Oracle Retail Merchandise Financial Planning. The new business process replaced fully manual markdown calculations with an automated engine that evaluates millions of combinations to surface recommendations and exceptions for merchant review. Outcomes reported by CCC Group from the Oracle Retail (ex Retek) rollout include a 4.2% increase in gross margin and a 7.1% increase in inventory sell-through after deploying Oracle Retail Clearance Optimization. CCC S.A. described the platform as providing flexibility and a scalable foundation to support continued rollout of merchandise operations and inventory orchestration.
