In 2019, Cecotec implemented SAP Business One as its ERP platform. The deployment centered on SAP Business One within the ERP Financial category, aligning finance and operational master data to a single transactional system for the retail organization.
Configuration work focused on financial management, inventory control, purchasing, and order-to-cash workflows, reflecting typical ERP Financial capabilities. SAP Business One was configured to support order management and to automate routine transaction processing, with functional modules extended through adjacent tooling to address after-sales and technical service ticketing.
Integrations linked SAP Business One to SalesForce, a warehouse management system SGA, CRM, PIM, marketplace connectors, and downstream order management and after-sales systems as articulated by the delivery team. These integrations established master data flows for products, orders, and customer records and enabled orchestration between marketplaces and fulfillment processes.
The program was led hand in hand with the CTO and executed by a cross functional delivery team of BackEnds, FrontEnds, UX and QA using Scrum and Kanban. The team captured requirements from internal stakeholders, generated the backlog and user stories, performed sprint planning, daily meetings and sprint reviews, and provided training and go live support for SAP Business One, with an explicit focus on optimizing and automating day to day tasks across commercial, logistics and service functions.

Working hand in hand with the CTO, the delivery team included BackEnds, FrontEnds, UX and QA resources operating under Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban to define the backlog, user stories and sprint deliverables.
Salesforce Sales Cloud was configured to provide core Sales Automation,CRM,Sales Engagement capabilities including lead and opportunity management, account and activity tracking, automated sales workflows and quoting orchestration aligned to retail commercial processes. Configuration work emphasized automation of routine sales tasks and standardized pipeline stages to improve handoffs between commercial and operational teams.
The Sales Cloud implementation integrated with SAP B1, product information management, SGA warehouse functions, marketplace channels, order management systems and after-sales and technical service platforms to enable end-to-end order to cash and service workflows. Integrations synchronized accounts, product catalog data and order status across sales, operations, marketplaces and service teams using API based connectivity patterns and centralized data mapping to preserve master data consistency.
Project governance was organized around sprint planning, daily meetings, sprint reviews and continuous backlog refinement, with the team responsible for requirements capture, feasibility analysis, progress reporting and issue resolution. The rollout included training and delivery to internal stakeholders, and the program explicitly targeted optimizing and automating day-to-day tasks while advancing the digital transformation of company processes.
