Infor SunSystems Financial Management System was configured to support core financial modules including General Ledger, Fixed Asset Register, Inventory management, and Budgeting, supplemented by Vision Reporting for financial and budget reporting. The bank maintained the SunSystems application and its database on Microsoft SQL with supplementary use of Microsoft Access for local data tasks, reflecting a combined application and database administration model.
Operational integration was established between Infor SunSystems and the bank's core banking systems, notably Equinox and Profits, to support General Ledger reconciliation and transactional review. The implementation covered finance, budgeting, fixed assets, and inventory teams, with workflows designed to validate that transactions posted in SunSystems matched core banking records and to surface and analyze any imbalances for clearance.
Governance and runbook activities were managed by a SunSystems consultant and accountant who supervised the application, administered the Fixed Asset Register and the inventory model, and provided day to day user support. Process and capability building included training the budgeting department on budget upload procedures and bespoke budget report design, plus coordinated training programs for fixed assets, inventory management, and budgeting, aligned to the bank's finance operating processes.
