Financial reporting was delivered through customized financial statement reports that combine actual, plan, and variance data, and through Report Writer and Report Painter groups for ad hoc and scheduled reports. The team documented functional specifications and executed RICEFW workstreams for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflow objects. Centrica deployed Central Finance to harmonize and standardize financial data using SAP Landscape Transformation, mapping master data from multiple source systems both SAP and non SAP into the central finance system. Integrations emphasized extraction and reconciliation of Universal Journal data for tax reporting and audit purposes, and the project team worked with internal technical resources and external audit advisory teams Deloitte and KPMG on journal entry and audit reporting extracts. Test artifacts were aligned to these integrations to validate data flows into SAP S/4 HANA. Governance and rollout included definition of test scenarios, development of test cases for FICO and S4 HANA RICEFW objects, and execution of unit, regression, and integration testing. The program also produced user training manuals and delivered end user training to finance and controllership teams to operationalize the new SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial processes.
