SAP Legacy SAP Travel and Expense Management Expense Management ERP n/a 2009 2009
In 2009, Cepheid implemented SAP Travel and Expense Management to standardize expense processing across its organization. The deployment addressed Expense Management for approximately 6000 employees, centralizing expense reporting, travel administration, and finance-side controls under a single SAP application. SAP Travel and Expense Management was configured with core Expense Management capabilities, including electronic expense reporting, receipt capture and imaging, workflow-based approval routing, corporate card reconciliation, mileage calculation, and policy enforcement. Configuration emphasized approval hierarchies, audit trails, and automated accounting code assignment to support accounts payable and financial close processes. The implementation integrated the SAP Travel and Expense Management application with corporate financial systems using ERP-grade interfaces to exchange master data such as employee records and cost centers, and to push validated expense postings to the general ledger. Interfaces supported automated accounting distributions, expense accruals, and reconciliation workflows to maintain consistent financial controls across business units. Governance was structured around finance-led policy configuration and role-based access controls, with change management focused on standardizing submission templates and approval workflows. Rollout followed a phased approach by organizational unit and included training for expense approvers and travel coordinators to enforce compliance and consistent processing.

ADP Legacy ADP Enterprise eTIME (OEM Kronos Workforce Central) Time and Attendance HCM n/a 2011 2011
In 2011, Cepheid implemented ADP Enterprise eTIME (OEM Kronos Workforce Central) as its Time and Attendance application. The deployment was executed as part of a cloud first IT strategy that also introduced Workday HR, SalesForce.com, Concur and Google for Work, reducing the on premise infrastructure footprint and scaling IT capabilities across the business. ADP Enterprise eTIME was configured to deliver core time capture, employee clocking, scheduling, absence management and payroll export workflows to align HR and payroll operations. The implementation was delivered as a hosted timekeeping solution consistent with Cepheid's cloud first posture, with configuration work focused on standardizing time policies, automating attendance processing and establishing timecard approval workflows. Functional emphasis was placed on operational timekeeping, centralized policy enforcement and supportability within the broader suite of cloud HR and business applications. Governance and organizational changes accompanied the ADP Enterprise eTIME rollout, including an IT Governance Committee led by the CEO and direct reports to improve technology spend accountability and business alignment. The ADP Enterprise eTIME Time and Attendance deployment was one element of a scaled IT organization that Cepheid reports has supported year over year revenue growth, while maintaining IT spend below 3 percent of revenue. Subsequent 2013 initiatives such as a SAP program and a global data management and machine to machine communications project called RemoteXpert indicate continued prioritization of cloud, mobility and security in operational planning.

Cisco Systems Legacy Cisco Webex Meetings Audio Video and Web Conferencing Collaboration n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, Cepheid implemented Cisco Webex Meetings on its public website to provide browser-accessible conferencing and meeting join flows. The deployment positions Cisco Webex Meetings as the primary Audio Video and Web Conferencing solution for both external interactions and internal collaboration across business functions. The implementation leverages core Cisco Webex Meetings capabilities, including multi-party video conferencing, screen sharing, meeting scheduling, participant management, and session recording. Cisco Webex Meetings is exposed through embedded web join widgets and link-based meeting invitations, enabling clientless join and native app participation for attendees. Architecturally the solution uses Webex cloud meeting infrastructure integrated into Cepheid's web presence, providing centralized meeting orchestration and media routing via the vendor hosted service. Operational coverage includes use cases across corporate communications, sales engagement, and technical support, reflecting standard Audio Video and Web Conferencing workflows for customer facing and employee collaboration scenarios. Governance is administered through the Cisco Webex administrative console, with centralized policy controls for meeting permissions, attendee roles, and recording retention, and with user provisioning managed within Cepheid's existing identity and IT administration processes. The configuration focuses on secure, web based meeting access and standardized meeting templates to streamline scheduling and external meeting experiences.
