In 2025, Charles University deployed SAFE Kiss as its Critical Event Management platform to centralize campus safety and mass-notification across faculties in the Czech Republic. SAFE Kiss was configured as a central notification hub delivering SMS, voice, and mobile app alerts to students and staff, leveraging the application’s standard critical-event and notification capabilities. The deployment covers faculty-level operational scopes and university-wide crisis communications workflows for tens of thousands of recipients.
The rollout was supported by a KISS user academy to onboard faculty administrators and establish notification templates, recipient segmentation, and escalation workflows for incident response. Functional modules in active use include multi-channel alerting, templated messaging, contact prioritization, and automated notification sequences consistent with Critical Event Management requirements. Governance is organized around trained campus administrators and coordinated crisis workflows, with the system operational for routine campus safety and mass-notification across Charles University faculties.
