Kingdee Legacy Kingdee Constellation Cloud Finance ERP Financial ERP Financial Management Ernst & Young 2022 2023
In 2022, China Merchants Group began implementation of Kingdee Constellation Cloud Finance. The Kingdee Constellation Cloud Finance deployment functions as the group ERP Financial platform to establish cloud-based global financial shared services, consolidated reporting and treasury management capabilities. The implementation configured functional capabilities focused on consolidated financial reporting and treasury management, explicitly covering thousands of legal entities and managing large scale fund flows. Kingdee Constellation Cloud Finance was used to centralize accounting close inputs, group consolidation feeds and treasury transaction handling within a single cloud instance. The architecture was delivered as a centralized cloud deployment supporting global shared services and group level finance operations, with configuration to handle multi-entity financial data and high volume cash movements. Integrations and system-to-system specifics are not detailed in source materials, the implementation narrative emphasizes a cloud native Constellation instance as the operational backbone. Project governance followed a staged rollout, the program kicked off in 2022, entered trial in 2023 and went live in December 2023, with implementation and consulting support provided by Ernst & Young alongside Kingdee. Governance and process changes targeted shared services operating procedures and consolidated reporting workflows to align with the new ERP Financial platform.

Yonyou Legacy Yonyou HR System Core HR HCM n/a 2025 2026
In 2025 Yonyou signed a phase II deal to deploy the Yonyou HR System across China Merchants Group to extend Core HR capabilities at the group level. The engagement is framed around Yonyou’s 招人i HR intelligent system and aims to expand centralized HR operations including attendance, external-affairs and payroll integration across subsidiaries. Yonyou communications describe the work as a multi-module rollout for group-level human capital management, focused on HR and payroll process automation. Explicit functional areas implemented include attendance management, external-affairs handling and payroll integration, supplemented by configuration of centralized employee records, organizational structure, and workflow automation consistent with Core HR deployments. Operational coverage is concentrated within China and targets the Group’s subsidiary HR and payroll teams, shifting transactional processing and attendance feeds into a centralized operational model. The Yonyou HR System, branded as 招人i, is positioned to consolidate human capital data and standardize automated process flows across the enterprise. The phase II designation indicates a staged rollout strategy with governance oriented through central HR to set configuration, policy and approval workflows while subsidiary HR units execute local adoption. Yonyou presents the implementation as a coordinated, multi-module program to standardize group-level human capital management across China Merchants Group.

ChainMaker Legacy ChainMaker Blockchain Platform Blockchain n/a 2023 2023
In 2023, China Merchants Group implemented ChainMaker as a Blockchain Platform to consolidate and standardize shipping and trade blockchain applications across its port, logistics and finance operations. The deployment targeted a dual circulation shipping and trade alliance serving shippers, logistics companies, infrastructure operators and other participating entities to enable multi party data sharing and trusted workflows. The project converged multiple blockchain technology routes and independent research and development, aligning ChainMaker as the enterprise Blockchain Platform while program documentation identifies Changan Chain as an underlying chain technology used across the group. China Merchants Group independently developed public infrastructure components including cross chain platforms, a distributed digital identity platform and a logistics big data platform to support smart contracts, consensus management and on chain data services. Integrations connected 19 internal and external blockchains and achieved early cross chain interoperation with the customs blockchain, while data exchange and ecological cooperation were carried out with networks such as GSBN. The implementation integrated blockchain with distributed identity, privacy computing, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and cloud computing to address data provenance, encrypted compute and rapid cloud based deployment across multi party shipping trade workflows. Governance and rollout were coordinated with central authorities including the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs, and the program produced sector platforms such as a Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area port logistics and trade facilitation blockchain platform, the Silk Road Cloud Chain for bulk commodities and an NVOCC blockchain electronic bill of lading platform. The initiative formed an integrated Shipping Trade and Finance ecosystem that enabled more than 12,000 small and medium sized enterprises, provided more than 83 billion yuan of inclusive finance, and supported the formulation of shipping related blockchain standards reflected in Ministry of Transport guidelines issued June 17, 2022.
