In 2017 Churches of Christ in Queensland began a program to implement Epicor Senior Living as a Healthcare ERP solution to address financial and billing needs across its Senior and Supported Living operations. The initiative centered on deploying the COTS Epicor SLS V10 application to support Residential Aged Care and Retirement Living billing and long term financial management needs of the organisation.
The Epicor Senior Living implementation focused on configuring core financial and billing capabilities typical of Healthcare ERP deployments, aligning resident invoicing, accounts receivable, and fee management workflows with sector requirements for RAC and RL operations. Configuration work emphasized standard COTS parameterization and business rule definition to support care billing, revenue posting, and financial reporting flows consistent with aged care administration.
The program was managed as a multi project technology portfolio that also included a SharePoint upgrade from 2010 to 2016, a Project Management Tool selection and proof of concept, and an Aurion V11 upgrade. SharePoint work products included an Intranet Strategy, SharePoint Governance Plan, Information Architecture and Technical Build documentation to enable greater decentralisation of content management by business units. The PM Tool stream produced business requirements, EOI materials, and training plans, while the Aurion project introduced new HR features through the v11 upgrade.
