Cityscoot Technographics
Discover the latest software purchases and digital transformation initiatives being undertaken by Cityscoot and its business and technology executives. Each quarter our research team identifies on-prem and cloud applications that are being used by the 300 Cityscoot employees from the public (Press Releases, Customer References, Testimonials, Case Studies and Success Stories) and proprietary sources.
During our research, we have identified that Cityscoot has purchased the following applications: PeopleSphere HRIS for Core HR in 2020, Tableau for Analytics and BI in 2018, VMware RabbitMQ for Collaboration in 2017 and the related IT decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Our database provides customer insight and contextual information on which enterprise applications and software systems Cityscoot is running and its propensity to invest more and deepen its relationship with PeopleSphere , Silae , Asys Group or identify new suppliers as part of their overall Digital and IT transformation projects to stay competitive, fend off threats from disruptive forces, or comply with internal mandates to improve overall enterprise efficiency.
We have been analyzing Cityscoot revenues, which have grown to $33.0 million in 2024, plus its IT budget and roadmap, cloud software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions for Cityscoot intention to invest in emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Autonomous Database or in cloud-based ERP, HCM, CRM, EPM, Procurement or Treasury applications.

| PeopleSphere | Legacy | PeopleSphere HRIS | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Cityscoot implemented PeopleSphere HRIS. PeopleSphere HRIS is a Core HR application deployed to centralize leave administration and site-level workforce planning for the company’s field operations.
The deployment included core leave management functionality and the roll out of the So'Horsys tool on PeopleSphere, which was delivered to all field teams to facilitate planning and the management of payroll from operational sites. Configuration work emphasized site-level scheduling, absence workflows, and user provisioning for field staff to support operational planners.
Operational rollout covered Milan operations where the technical team mobilized for a News Dev Commando day to design and develop a scooter monitoring tool addressing potential thefts, executed in parallel with PeopleSphere activities. The PeopleSphere HRIS implementation extended across Parisian sites, the Paris workshop, Nice, and the recently launched Bordeaux mini team, providing operational HR support to local managers and site planners.
Governance and adoption combined HR configuration with local engagement activities led by the new Office and Culture manager, who organized on-site events in Saint Ouen, Aubervillier, and Bayen to accelerate usage. The Bordeaux mini team of four reported strong local engagement and the Cityscoot service had 1600 registered users in that launch phase, and operations leadership publicly acknowledged cross-functional support from RC, Operations, Tech, the Paris workshop, and site managers.

| VMware by Broadcom | Legacy | VMware RabbitMQ | Collaboration | Collaboration | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Cityscoot deployed VMware RabbitMQ to provide a messaging backbone for its internal engineering and operations tooling. The VMware RabbitMQ implementation supported Collaboration use cases across fleet management, reservation handling, diagnostic alerting, and field team coordination within Cityscoot’s Paris operations.
The deployment centered on RabbitMQ as the asynchronous message broker connecting multiple ASP.Net MVC applications, an ASP.Net API used for database synchronization, and a WinForm diagnostic tool used by mechanics. Functional capabilities implemented included sensor data ingestion, geolocation event streams, command dispatch to scooters, real time scooter detail feeds, alert diagnosis pipelines, and reservation state updates. The technology stack recorded in the implementation included C#, ASP.Net, ReactJS, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LinQ, with RabbitMQ providing pub/sub and queueing patterns for interservice communication.
Integrations explicitly implemented included an API to synchronize the system database with the ERP database, while RabbitMQ enabled decoupled workflows between the web applications, background processing, and field diagnostic tools. Operational coverage spanned engineering teams, field intervention crews, and the mechanic team, with RabbitMQ carrying messages used for on site diagnosis, intervention editing, and real time fleet status.
Governance and operational changes included creation of a monitoring space to manage information system inconsistencies and established maintenance on the diagnostic tool used for CAN communication. The implementation structured messaging and workflow orchestration so engineering, operations, and maintenance functions shared a common Collaboration layer via VMware RabbitMQ.
