SAP SAP HCM (HR) SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core HR HCM n/a 2018 2023
In 2018 Clarks implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR solution, replacing SAP HCM, its prior HR system. The program targeted centralization of employee master data and core HR workflows to support the company’s Human Resources function across its United Kingdom operations and broader employee population of approximately 4,891 staff. Implementation work focused on standard SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central capabilities, including centralized employee profiles, organizational management, position management, business rules and workflow configuration, and country-specific data models for HR compliance. Configuration included role-based security, event-driven employee lifecycle processes, and automated personnel record updates to streamline HR administration and onboarding workflows. The project ran alongside a global SAP Concur Expense deployment led by the same Business Change Lead, with the Concur rollout delivered across a global employee base and explicitly described as enhancing expense management efficiency and accuracy. Core HR planning accounted for typical integration touchpoints that accompany Core HR systems, such as payroll and time and attendance interfaces, while keeping payroll or other third-party linkage details specific to existing vendor agreements. Governance and change activities were emphasized through a comprehensive communication strategy, stakeholder management, workshops, training and business readiness led from June 2018 to May 2019. The Business Change Lead role shaped user adoption and alignment of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central with organisational goals and employee needs, embedding new HR processes and governance practices during the rollout.

Oracle Legacy Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service Point Of Sale ERP Services and Operations n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Clarks implemented Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service to standardize in-store transaction systems. The Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service deployment was positioned to support Point Of Sale operations across Clarks retail stores in the United Kingdom. The implementation configured core Point Of Sale capabilities including transaction capture, cashier workflows, returns and exchanges, promotions and loyalty lookup, tender management, and offline transaction handling. Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service was set up to provide real time style item and price presentation at the terminal, integrated inventory availability checks, and cashier session and shift controls consistent with retail store operations. Integrations were established between Micros Systems Xstore, Relate CRM, SAP ERP and Retail, and the companys inventory systems to synchronize master item and pricing data, surface customer and loyalty events to Relate CRM, and post sales and settlement records into SAP ERP and Retail. The integration layer focused on canonical sales and inventory messages, enabling catalog and stock level reconciliation between the point of sale and backend retail systems. Governance for the rollout centralized POS configuration and catalog management, while operational ownership remained with store operations for day to day cashier processes. Change control workflows were implemented for promotions and price updates to ensure coordinated updates across Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service, the CRM feed, and SAP based merchandising and replenishment processes.
