In 2019 CommunityCare implemented ADP Workforce Now as its Core HR solution. CommunityCare is a U.S. insurance company with roughly 500 employees, and the deployment establishes ADP Workforce Now as the primary HR and workforce management application supporting HR and payroll business functions.
ADP Workforce Now was configured to deliver core HRIS capabilities, payroll processing, benefits administration, time and attendance tracking, employee self-service, and standard reporting and analytics consistent with Core HR requirements. The configuration emphasis was on consolidating employee records and payroll inputs into a single application to streamline routine HR operations and administrative workflows.
CommunityCare is using ADP Workforce Now on their website, which surfaces employee self-service workflows and HR communications through the corporate web presence. Operational coverage centers on HR, payroll, and benefits functions for staff in the United States, with the application serving as the system of record for headcount and compensation data.
Governance and operational ownership were aligned to internal HR and payroll teams, with policy and workflow standardization carried out during rollout to ensure consistent data stewardship and transaction processing within ADP Workforce Now. The implementation reflects a centralized Core HR architecture that organizes HR processes, access to employee services, and reporting around a single vendor platform.

| Broadcom | Legacy | AppWorx Workload Automation | Business Process Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 CommunityCare configured AppWorx Workload Automation as a core element of its Business Process Management tooling to orchestrate AMISYS batch workloads during an AMISYS Advance 8.7 upgrade and cloud migration effort. The engagement focused on development and test environments and included collaboration across AMISYS architects, system administrators, DBA team members, programmers, and outside vendors to stabilize job scheduling and process orchestration.
Implementation work centered on Appworx 7 job scheduling and operational configuration, including hands-on setup and debugging of AppWorx Workload Automation job definitions and runbooks. The team installed and configured Micro Focus COBOL Runtime Server and Micro Focus COBOL compiler to support embedded SQL PROCOBOL routines, and configured Oracle 19c as the relational runtime backend that AppWorx interfaced with for batch job dependencies and data-driven scheduling.
Integrations were executed with AMISYS Advance 8.7, ASG Cypress report manager for report delivery, and Red Hat Common Unix Printing System for printer workflows, while the broader environment moved toward Azure Cloud for platform hosting. Source control and release workflows were restructured by transferring COBOL code and JCL from HP-UNIX Subversion repositories into GIT hosted in Azure DevOps, with AppWorx job executions incorporated into CI test cycles and system testing runs.
Program governance and operationalization included daily sprint participation, running team meetings, opening and triaging JIRA tasks, authoring process documentation in Confluence, training programmers on day-to-day GIT operations, and administering GIT repositories. Testing activities covered unit testing, regression testing, performance testing, and UAT support, with AppWorx Workload Automation used to run AMISYS jobs in development and test as part of integrated system validation.

Operational scope covers payer operations, quality measurement, and care management teams across CommunityCare’s Oklahoma provider network, with integrations focused on provider and member data exchange and CMS interoperability endpoints to support prior authorization workflows and regulatory data exchange. Governance and rollout are described as aligned to payer quality and clinical teams with phased adoption to embed analytics into existing reporting workflows, while 1up Analyze is restated as the analytics component used to deliver SQL-on-FHIR reporting and BI integration.
