In 2015 Compass Mortgage implemented Calyx Point LOS as its Loan Management application. The deployment was executed alongside a broader infrastructure redevelopment and was positioned to support mortgage origination and servicing workflows across an environment serving more than 150 onsite and remote employees, coordinated by the company VP Infrastructure.
Calyx Point LOS was configured to support core Loan Management functions including loan origination intake, processing pipelines, document management and mortgage-specific compliance workflows, aligned with standard LOS functional modules. Configuration work reflected category-aligned capabilities for underwriting handoffs, automated data capture, and document lifecycle orchestration to support mortgage operations and loan processors.
The Calyx Point LOS implementation was integrated with an existing mortgage software stack and infrastructure components explicitly listed in internal notes, including DocMagic for document services, ShareFile for file exchange, VirPack for packaging, CARS and Zetafax for legacy document handling. Identity and access were tied into Office 365 and Azure AD for Single Sign-On and hybrid Exchange authentication, while disaster recovery and storage relied on Dell PowerVault SAN and Barracuda cloud storage, and endpoint and email protection used Mimecast, Cylance and Duo for dual authentication.
Operational governance for the Calyx Point LOS rollout emphasized IT application development, auditing, metrics, project planning and documentation.
