In 2017 Cool Gray upgraded to PrintVis ERP on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, completing a move from PrintVis 2009 to PrintVis 2016 in May 2017. The upgrade was positioned to support the companys Retail Management needs while consolidating core shop floor and back office processes.
PrintVis ERP was configured to centralize estimating, production planning, warehouse operations and invoicing, with explicit configuration for webshop integrations to link e commerce order flows to manufacturing schedules. Functional modules implemented included estimating and job costing, production planning and scheduling, inventory and warehouse management, and financial invoicing tied to order and job records.
The deployment ran on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the underlying ERP platform, integrating webshop order channels with warehouse and production workflows to provide a single transaction and master data model. Operational scope covered Cool Gray operations in Denmark and focused on production, warehouse and finance business functions, aligning planning data with inventory and invoicing processes.
Following the May 2017 upgrade Cool Gray reported better inventory control and reduced stock binding by about 60 percent, which improved planning and financial visibility across production. PrintVis ERP served as the central Retail Management application linking estimating, shop floor planning, warehousing and invoicing into a unified operational flow.
